joseph baruch warren is considered by many to be the most important media artist of his generation. his work refuses easy categorization as it meanders through film, philosophy, photography, writing, and visual poetry, all while existing on the cutting edge of internet technology.

warren’s career began in 2002 with several film and radio productions, warmly received in his olympia, wa hometown.

in january 2008 he moved to new york and enrolled as a student at the new school in the media studies graduate program. since his move, he has been prolific and his work has received a great deal of critical praise.
